Solo, or Season?
Snoring is not something you do. It is something your throat stops doing.
Hush is a wellness device for ordinary snoring. It is not a medical device, it is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a treatment for sleep apnea. Snoring can be a symptom of a sleep disorder — if you gasp, choke or stop breathing in your sleep, or you are exhausted after a full night, see a doctor rather than buying a gadget. Do not use Hush if you have a pacemaker or any implanted electronic or metallic device, a heart rhythm condition, epilepsy or a thyroid condition; if you are pregnant; or on broken or irritated skin.
The 3am problem
Nobody in the room is sleeping. One of you doesn't know it.
Here is what is happening for a lot of snorers. Awake, a set of muscles in your throat holds the airway open without you ever thinking about it. Asleep, they let go. The soft tissue at the back of the throat slackens into the gap, the air you are breathing has to force its way past it, and the tissue flutters. That flutter is the sound. It is not the only way a snore happens — it can start at the nose or the soft palate too — but a slack throat is one of the most common, and it is not a habit and it is not your fault. That is also why advice aimed at your behaviour — roll over, lose weight, drink less, sleep in the spare room — is so hard to keep up night after night. Meanwhile the person next to you is awake at three in the morning doing arithmetic about how many hours are left, and the resentment that builds in a bedroom over a year of that is the thing that actually does the damage.
Six reasons · The throat, not the jaw
Built for the throat — one of the most common places a snore starts
How it works
Four things, and then you go to bed.
Peel a pad
Take one adhesive gel pad from its sachet and press it onto the front of your throat, centred just below the Adam's apple.
Clip the unit on
The unit snaps onto the studs on the pad. It sits flat against the skin — no strap, no collar, no wire.
Press once
One press starts it. There is nothing to pair, nothing to configure and no screen to read in the dark.
In the morning, put it back in the case
Lift the unit off, drop it into the round case to charge, and keep the pad if it is still tacky.

Early owners
What the first nights sound like
"Bought the bigger pack straight away because I knew I would be using it every night, and I was right. My skin is fussy and I have had no reaction from the pads so far. Would buy again. Have bought again, actually, for my brother."
"I got it for my dad. He is seventy-one and not a gadget person and he manages it fine. The button is on the side and you can find it in the dark without opening your eyes. Only thing I would change is the price of the refills, but that is a small complaint."
"Third one of these I have tried from various places. This is the one that stayed on my throat all night. Would be five if the Solo pack came with more pads to start you off."
Good to know
Questions, answered
Where exactly does it go?
On the front of your throat, centred just below the Adam's apple. You press a soft adhesive gel pad onto the skin there, and the unit clips onto the studs on the pad. It sits flat, it does not go round your neck, and there is no strap, collar or wire of any kind.
What does it feel like?
A light tingling or tapping under the skin, in the same family as a TENS or EMS pad on a sore shoulder. Most people describe it as odd for the first minute or two and unremarkable after that. It should never be painful — if it is, take it off.
Is this a treatment for sleep apnea?
No, and please do not buy it as one. Hush is a wellness device for ordinary snoring. It is not a medical device and it is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition. Snoring can be a symptom of a sleep disorder, so if you gasp, choke or stop breathing in your sleep, or you wake up exhausted after a full night, see a doctor — that is a conversation worth having regardless of what any gadget does.
Who should not use it?
Do not use Hush if you have a pacemaker or any other implanted electronic or metallic device, a heart rhythm condition, epilepsy, or a thyroid condition; if you are pregnant; or on skin that is broken, irritated or infected. If you are under a doctor's care for anything involving your neck, heart or nervous system, ask them before you start.
How many pads do I get, and how many nights is that?
Pads come 2 to a pack. Solo includes 10 pads — 5 packs of 2. Season includes those same 5 packs plus 15 spare packs, so 40 pads in total — 20 packs of 2. If you put on a fresh pad every night, that is 10 nights with Solo and 40 nights with Season. Those are the numbers assuming one pad per night; a pad that is still tacky in the morning can be used again, which stretches the box further.
How long does a single pad last, and can I buy more?
We do not put a night count on an individual pad, because it honestly varies — how many nights you get out of one depends on your skin and how warm you sleep. You replace a pad when it stops sticking cleanly. That is why we quote the box in whole pads: 10 with Solo, 40 with Season. Season includes 15 spare packs (30 extra pads) for exactly this reason, and refill packs are available separately — a One-month pack is 30 pads ($29.99), with no subscription attached.
Does it need an app?
No. There is no app, no account, no Bluetooth pairing and no subscription. It is one button.
Will it wake my partner?
It makes no sound. There is no motor, no fan and no alert tone — the unit is silent, which is rather the point.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and delivered in 5–10 business days, with tracking emailed as soon as your Hush ships.
